WHAT IS LABOR TRAFFICKING?
Labor trafficking occurs when a person is forced or coerced to work under harsh and unfair labor conditions. Victims of labor trafficking are made to engage in various types of labor or services against their will, often in difficult or inhumane situations. This can include industries such as agriculture, construction, day labor, domestic work, manufacturing, and more.
