The Arizona Human Trafficking Hotline's mission is to empower survivors and those at risk of human trafficking in the state of Arizona by offering victim-centered services that provide the necessary resources and support to reclaim control of their lives and future.
Our Service Connection Team is dedicated to operating a 24/7 hotline that offers compassionate and nonjudgmental services to encourage individuals to seek help. Our goal is to transform the way victims of labor and sex trafficking are perceived and served, inspiring positive change in our society.
HOW IT WORKS
The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) receives the calls and screens for individuals who have experienced or are experiencing trafficking.
All identified victims and survivors are put on a brief hold to give DPS the chance to relay any important information before our Service Connection Team receives the transfer.
The Service Connection Team then makes initial contact and works with callers to build rapport, identify needs, and connect to services.
WHO CAN CALL
Anyone who lives in the state of Arizona. Out of state callers are referred to the National Human Trafficking Hotline (888-373-7888).
Victims and survivors of labor and or sex trafficking.
Concerned family members.
Other concerned persons.
Callers under the age of 18 will be transferred to appropriate agency.
WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?
Callers in need of support can speak directly with a Service Connection Team Member through the helpline, where compassionate agents are available 24/7 to provide assistance. Return callers have access to a dedicated case manager line, ensuring continuity of care for up to 12 months. This case manager line guides survivors through their journey to recovery. Additionally, the hotline's support extends to providing referrals to essential services in and around the callers' area, facilitating connections with relevant resources. To foster a sense of community, the Service Connection Team facilitates conference calling with other service providers as needed. Recognizing the importance of family, the Service Connection Team also offers assistance and support to families of victims of trafficking. Services are also accesible to speakers of diverse languages, thanks to interpreter services available as needed.
